Double Trouble

I was running by the river as fast as I can

When my feet got stuck in the mud and the sand

My body went rollin

My bowling ball head banged on a rock

I thought I was dead

My eyes rolled backward

My sight went black

I floated for a moment til the moment was back

Every man and woman I could see em all coming

They were running like a hundred miles an hour in the summer

Til their feet got stuck in the mud and the sand

They all came tumbling down hand in hand

Who thought saving me would mean saving you

Maybe we can save each other

Come together like jelly and peanut butter

Help each other when we’re in trouble

It beats fighting from a bubble

Fighting from a bubble’s double trouble

I went swimming in the ocean

Way out deep

I saw a big ol’ whale swimming under my feet

I start to paddle backwards to get to the beach

When the current wouldn’t let me in I started to freak out

My heart was pounding

Was scared to death

I floated for a moment while I was holding my breath

Then every man and woman I could see them all coming

Like a hundred rubber ducky’s all floating with a motor

Til they all just froze in the big shadow

All I felt was a tickle on the tip of my toes

And that big ol’ whale decided to go
