Guess it's getting to be that time

Can't shrug off this feeling of mine

As I go round and round this carousel

Expecting that there's something different to find

Lost in social media craze

Must be a better way to waste the days

Everybody fighting for this superficial attention

Which only proves we're lost our way

There's no more right and wrong (no more right or wrong)

There's only which side you belong (which side are you on?)

Facts are ignored, the truth is who screams the loudest

We've given up on all that made us strong (we were once so strong)

One wants to control, and the other wants to console

Then there's those who can't make up their minds

All claim they want peace; all claim the other must cease

This madness that's destroying mankind

Who's to blame? It's a very dangerous game

Cause we're better than this and we shouldn't miss

Every opportunity ... to return ... to sanity ...

The writing's on the wall

The wall has grown so very tall

To be big enough to read what's there ...

You gotta give in, you gotta learn to care

Before the clock runs out ... try to feel what it's all about

Don't put it off till tomorrow ...

There may not be another tomorrow to put it off to ...

One side wants to relate ... the other wants to hate

Talking doesn't get us anywhere

Both claim God's on their side, but God doesn't decide

It's you and me who have to get us there
