Artist Biography
The multinational Greenwich Trio enjoyed mentorship from some of the top names in chamber music. The group has concertized widely at festivals and has made several recordings. The Greenwich Trio was formed in 2006. The original members were violinist Lana Trotovšek, cellist Stjepan Hauser, and pianist Yoko Misumi; Hauser was replaced in the 2010s by Heather Tuach. The first years of the Greenwich Trio's existence were marked by strong competition showings. The Greenwich Trio made its recording debut in 2012 with an album of Beethoven and Mendelssohn trios. In 2023, the Greenwich Trio returned on recordings, with the first in a series devoted to the Brahms piano trios.
