Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time that I heard "A Day In The Life," by The Beatles, terrified me. That big, ominous crescendo just shook me. It affected me enough to where it sent me back to hear more, and that intrigue altered the course of my life.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Neil Young, After the Gold Rush The Beatles, The Beatles (The White Album) The Velvet Underground, White Light/White Heat (Deluxe Edition) It is so hard to pick just 3 albums! Just know that within these 3 albums, you will find unlock the existential mysteries of life!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bitter Pills” This is the first song that I recorded that I felt happy with. You can't really hear "genre" or "style" here. It's pretty ambiguous, which ironically, sums my music up perfectly. I hate boxes and loath working within boundaries, artistically.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Probably hearing my song for the first time on a film trailer. I have to say a close second is getting wine-drunk with Kris Kristofferson.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Smoke a joint with and/or have dinner with Jimmy Page.
