Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. There was a cassette tape labeled rock and roll with a silhouette of a man swinging his hips while holding a guitar. I had to own the tape and bring it home. When I pressed play I heard summertime blues for the first time and I was hooked.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Déjà Vu Living Colour, Time's Up Soundgarden, Superunknown Deja Vu is an album my father and I wouldn't change in the car. Living Colour was the first band where my listening flavors became my own. Soundgarden is my favorite band and this album is undeniable.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Troubling Times” It seems to be a staple that I will pick up and play when I'm alone. The song reminds me of an older time and continues to be a part of the sets I play live.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My career seems like multiple lives at this point. Performing for the first time to my Rio classmates, playing punk on sunset blvd, opening up for Corey Glover and being on stage with my kids are all easily up there.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to open up for any member or all members of the original grunge scene. It just seems fitting. Seattle 90s music was one of the most cherished moments for me and it would be an honor.
