In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I heard Cannibal Corpse's song Tomb of the Mutilated the first time, it made such a strong impression on me that I decided I wanted to learn how to play music myself. I was 13 years old, and ever since then I've been playing and writing music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Devourer, Across the Empty Plains Devourer, Dawn of Extinction Devourer, The Wicked Ones I make music for many reasons, one of the reasons is that I want something I like to listen to, so I choose my own albums.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Atomic Redeemer” This song was a true collaboration between me and Oksana, and I can hear the composition benefited from it. The sum is really greater than the parts on this one. There are more songs like it on the album, but this is my favorite.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Making 'The Wicked Ones' together with Oksana was the best time I've had with Devourer. It's the start of a new chapter for Devourer, I feel muically rejuvinated with her, and I can't wait to hear what we come up with together in the coming years.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? At the moment we're aiming on playing live with Devourer later this summer. I've been working on Devourer's music for over two decades, but never played live since we don't have a full line-up. We're still not, but we're solving it in other ways.
