About Dulce María
Before turning 17, Mexican actress and singer Dulce María had appeared on a host of advertisements, TV shows, and movies, as well as being a member of musical outfits KIDS, D&D, and Jeans. Her big break came in 2004 with Rebelde and RBD, the hit TV series and its derived teen-pop band that went on to achieve worldwide stardom. After RBD called it quits, Dulce María launched a successful solo career with Extranjera (2010), followed by Sin fronteras (2014) and DM (2017). She also kept working steadily for television and the cinema, garnering leading roles on popular series and soap operas such as Corazón que miente, Muy padres and Falsa identidad. ~ Mariano Prunes
