El Momo is the alias of Mario Gutiérrez, a Spanish rapper born in Zaragoza in 1986. After becoming well-known on the local scene with his demos, shows, and collaborations with other artists such as Pseudónimo or Gordo de Mente, El Momo released his debut album Viento in 2013. El Don de Escuchar followed in 2015. With lyrics and sounds that seek to avoid the genre's clichés, El Momo has managed to elicit the admiration of his peers: He has worked with Sho Hai, Hazhe, and Rayden, and was Kase.O's supporting act in 2017. Tetsuo, his third studio outing, arrived in July of that same year.
