Giorgio Gigli is a Roman DJ and producer who creates spacy, hypnotic minimal techno. His tracks often push past the ten-minute mark, creating ever-changing alien landscapes. A longtime DJ, Gigli released his first 12", "Chiki Disco" (a collaboration with Donato Dozzy), on Elettronica Romana in 2004. He released several additional records on the label until 2006, after which he released material on Dumb-Unit and Mental Groove. In 2009, Gigli and frequent collaborator Obtane founded a label called Zooloft, and the duo released nearly a dozen collaborative 12"s. In 2015, Electric Deluxe released Gigli's debut full-length album, The Right Place Where Not to Be, which took his sound in a slower, murkier, more industrial direction. ~ Paul Simpson
