Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 6th grade I established my first rap group Z-Unit under the stage name K-ice. 50 Cent is the reason I picked up the pen and started writing in my blue rhyme book at the age of 12.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Nothing Was the Same Kendrick Lamar, Section.80 Mac Miller, Faces This was an incredibly tough decision to make but I went with some of the albums that I recall that had the most impact on me as an artist. These were some of the albums that influenced me the most and changed my direction and approach to artistry.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Magnificent” I chose this song because it embodies me. From trials & tribulations I face on a day to day basis to dealing with trauma and close relationships. How I navigated the matrix and created my own code to live by.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A show I played in the small town of Norfolk, NE. Sabrina and my first born son traveled with to watch me perform. It was the first time my son seen me live. He was front & center stage dancing. 2 years old at the time and that gave me more purpose.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Looking forward to touring. Ultimately I don't set to many goals and expectations for this road. I would like to become a household name that people know about and are inspired by. Whatever comes with that, I'll look forward to experiencing.
