Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Mother was a percussionist, and she had these black wooden congas in our living room. I loved crawling into them and hide out, the smell of the wood, no-one being able to find me. In there I hear her play a cassette of Olatunji's Drums of Passion
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bill Withers, Still Bill Miles Davis, Kind of Blue Sly & The Family Stone, The Essential Sly & The Family Stone Bill & Sly should be in everyone's life. I love how they made Kind of Blue into Atmos - they placed speakers in the studio the recording was made in, and replayed the original tracks where that mic was. and re-recorded it with an Atmos Mic. Genius!

Tell us why you chose this song. “Keep You Hird” I fell in love with the sound of the Fender Rhodes age 14, found a broken one and renovated it. Then made what I thought no one ever would want to hear... And I was wrong. It was released and took on a magical life of its own...
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2004 I started going to the Loft parties in NYC where David Mancuso would play the most amazing music on the best sound system I had ever heard. Years later I got a text from a friend at the party: "David is playing From Dark to Light RIGHT NOW"
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to build a clone of David Mancuso's the Loft Sound System, make it sound amazing, and play my favourite records for all my friends at the same time. I have 4 Klipschorns so I need 3 more. The plan is in motion.
