An English-born, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter with a supple commanding voice, Jade Bird offers a winsome mix of folk, pop, and rustic Americana. While still in her teens, she joined the roster of influential indie Glassnote Records, which released her chart-topping eponymous debut album in 2019. Working with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb, she delivered her follow-up, Different Kinds of Light, in 2021. After contributing to the soundtrack for the 2023 Netflix film NYAD, Bird worked with Mura Masa on the 2024 song "Burn the Hard Drive." Her next full-length, the poignant Who Wants To Talk About Love?, followed in July 2025.
