Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 7, my uncle Sean had all of us write raps. It my big brother, my other 2 uncles and I all in the living room writing to see who’s would become the best. After about 30 mins we all rapped the songs in front of each other and I know I won.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jay Gremlin, Forever Grem Veeze, Ganger (Deluxe Edition) Whitney Houston, Whitney The Greatest Hits Forever Grem put me in that mode! I was in a bad space but making this tape got me out. One of my most put together tapes, got vibes. Veeze hard and that tape was crazy and he from Detroit. Wordplay like mine so I relate. And Whitney is the goat!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Downfall” This song means so much because of what was going on in my life. When I rap I try to be as open and honest because you’ll get the real me. And this song is vulnerable and groovy and melodic. What more could you ask for in a song?
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I’m still waiting to have my big moment. I just been enjoying the grind and the process more than anything. That way I’ll actually be ready when that spotlight does come.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I gotta get my foot in the door and then it’s up from there on skis!
