Sibling R&B duo K-Ci & JoJo’s impassioned, soulful music made them superstars in the ’90s.
• K-Ci and JoJo were previously the lead singers of ’90s hitmakers Jodeci, known as the “bad boys of R&B.”
• The duo’s breakout moment came in 1996, when they were featured guests on 2Pac’s “How Do U Want It.” The single topped the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
• K-Ci & JoJo’s 1997 debut album, Love Always, spawned the hit single “All My Life,” which held No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks.
• Their 1999 sophomore effort, It’s Real, produced another smash single in “Tell Me It’s Real,” which reached No. 2 on the Hot 100.
• In 2010, the duo signed with Babyface’s Soda Pop Records and released their fifth album, My Brother's Keeper, three years later.
