Uruguayan punk rock band Los Traidores was formed in the mid-'80s by singer Juan Casanova, guitarist Víctor Nattero, and bassist Pablo Dana, later joined by drummer Alejandro Bourdillón. The foursome made their debut in a local compilation called Graffiti, released in 1985. A year later, Los Traidores recorded their debut album, called Montevideo Agoniza, and soon joined Montevideo Rock festival, playing along with Sumo and Fito Paez, among other Latin rock artists. After keyboardist Ciao Martínez joined in 1987, En Cualquier Parte Del Mundo was recorded, followed by a self-titled album in 1988, and La Lluvia Ha Vuelto A Caer in 1992. When Daniel Jacques and Andrés Arrillaga became the new bassist and drummer, respectively, the band went back to the recording sessions, making Radio Babilonia, released by Monitor in 1995. In April of 1998 Los Traidores performed at Rock de Acá festival, that same year, original bassist Pablo Dana returned and drummer Roberto Rodino joined in. ~ Drago Bonacich
