In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My father had a studio setup under the elevated bed I slept on. I used to fall asleep to the sounds of keys banging, and the faint melodies that would escape his headphones.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Anxiety” Anxiety is special to me because the song concept came to me. I didn't go searching for it. I was standing outside on break from the job I was working, thinking about my life and my relationship with my thoughts and like... I just heard the chords.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I heard Deante' Hitchcock was on Cole's album. Because I'd just worked with him a year or two before. It felt like "Not only am I happy for him, but I feel like I'm heading in the right direction." Mind you I still had a job at this point too.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The goal is, and has always been this: Make art. Get Money. Use that money to fund positive social endeavors for people who wouldn't be able to for themselves. Repeat. One of my personal goals is to fund a year of therapy for someone.
