Mariah the Scientist is an R&B singer-songwriter who first began releasing music in the 2010s.
∙ Atlanta native Mariah Buckles started writing music while studying biology at St. John’s University in New York, which later inspired her stage name, “The Scientist.”
∙ To Die For—her self-released 2018 debut EP—caught the attention of rapper Tory Lanez, who invited her on tour and signed her to his One Umbrella imprint.
∙ She collaborated with rapper Trippie Redd on the hit song “Abandoned” from the Gold-certified, chart-topping 2019 album A Love Letter To You 4.
∙ After signing to a major label in 2019, she released her debut album, Master, featuring the hit single “Beetlejuice.”
