Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sitting with my dad in the middle of the orchestra during rehearsals, I was completely immersed in the sound - the timbres of each instrument blending around me. With both my parents being classical musicians, music was ever-present in my childhood.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? OHMA, On Loving Earth Sam Evian, Time to Melt Stereolab, Dots and Loops All-time favorite albums - that’s an impossible question! I frequently get obsessed with new music across different genres. These three have been some of my most played recently—beautiful records with amazing sounds.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I've Never Been To Japan (feat. Jacob Artved)” ‘I’ve Never Been To Japan’ is a mellow tune I wrote one afternoon in September while missing my brother. He lives in NYC but was on tour in Japan at the time. I was also deeply into Ryuichi Sakamoto’s music. So, the title has a double meaning to me.
