Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 10 years old I saw Garth Brooks at the Omni in Atlanta, GA. The bug bit me way back then and I set out to figure out how to do that and created a life of writing and performing songs.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Flickerstick, Welcoming Home the Astronauts Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly The Smashing Pumpkins, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness I love albums that pull from a wide array of influences yet still feel cohesive. Flickerstick's hooks are infectious and To Pimp a Butterfly and Mellon Collie are "no skip" journeys!

The tragedy at Mother Emanuel had occurred a few years prior, but it was still on all of our minds. We set out to create a song of hope and triumph in the face of so much grief.
