Mike Tramp is a Danish rock & roll singer/songwriter who served as frontman for the 1980s metal band White Lion and hard rockers Freak of Nature during the '90s. His sound weds hooky, nearly pop melodies to powerful riffs and choruses in narrative songs. His solo career began with 1998's Capricorn. In 2008 he re-formed White Lion, resulting in their 2008 studio album Return of the Pride. 2012's Cobblestone Street, an acoustic outing, made Denmark's pop charts. In 2015 he returned to rock & roll with Nomad. In 2017, Maybe Tomorrow became his first solo record to receive a transatlantic release. Stray from the Flock followed in 2019. In 2021, Tramp issued Everything Is Alright (he entered the title cut in the year's Dansk Melodi Grand Prix). Songs of White Lion and Songs of White Lion, Vol. 2, followed in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
