Glam rockers Mud came together in London in the ’60s, scored the UK’s biggest-selling single of 1974 with the flirtatious boogie “Tiger Feet,” and entered pop’s holiday-music canon with their ballad “Lonely This Christmas” before breaking up in 1979.
