In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Back in 2006 my brother used to play a lot of Linda Mkhize better know by his Stage name PRO. He was a South African rapper and producer who had just released his second studio album DNA and i heard it play back to back as a kid and I was Hooked.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Mach-Hommy, Pray For Haiti Nas, It Was Written Roc Marciano, Behold a Dark Horse I personally gravitate to these 3 albums because of the different styles the individuals display from wordplay, lyricism, cadence and delivery. I grew up to hearing Nas bumping in the house and as for Marci and Mach I discovered as I grew older
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Selfish” This is one of those songs that had me feeling confident in myself and what I do. It provokes a sense of dominance and the production of the beat is outstanding from MVRTIN. I didn't take much for me to tap into the zone everything was effortless.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have a couple moments I could highlight but at the top of the list would be me getting a shout out from one of South Africa's most streamed artist Blxckie after he heard Selfish and as soon as that happened yesterdays prices is not todays price.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still want to build a solid foundation for the younger generation and spread the Hip Hop movement here in Botswana. Then the next step would be for us to export talent to the rest of the WORLD and showcase what Botswana has to offer.
