In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 10 years old I went to Arena di Verona and listened to Aida with my grandmother and the rest of my family. I remember the smell of perfume and magic under the stars.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beharie, Are You There, Boy? Bigbang, Glory Chord Kacey Musgraves, Deeper Well: Deeper into the Well These albums are very different and i really love them all. A common thing for them is that they are all packed with fantastic songs by fantastic musicians and give me the best vibes when I’m driving.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “People Like Us” This is a feel good song from my album with the same title. The song is built around vocal harmonies and is about equality and love.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I got to the final of “Liverpool International Song Contest” in 2021 with my song “The River”and got to perform it at The Cavern , Liverpool with my sister Djamila , my daughter Veronica and guitarist Ola Aanje.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to go on tour in Europe with a full band, Norway and abroad.
