About Provinz
A German indie pop band with a dramatic, yearning tone, Provinz rose to success in 2020 when their debut album, Wir bauten uns Amerika, reached number four on the national pop chart. Their mix of warm, acoustic pop with electronic flourishes continued to attract new fans on 2022's Zorn & Liebe, which peaked at number two. The group cemented their popularity with their third album, Pazifik, which topped the German charts in early 2025.
