Chillstep DJ and producer Said The Sky combines hard-hitting basslines with emotionally charged vocals and melodies.
• Said The Sky is Trevor Christensen, a Colorado native who grew up playing piano and other instruments. He fell in love with dance music after taking an audio production class in high school.
• After high school, he studied music theory at Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music. This training accounts for his highly musical approach.
• His self-released debut EP, Faith, arrived in 2015.
• In 2016, he teamed up with producers Seven Lions and Illenium—plus vocalist Haliene—for the streaming hit “Rush Over Me.” Said The Sky has collaborated with Illenium on multiple tracks, including “Sad Songs,” off Illenium’s 2019 album ASCEND.
• His 2018 debut album, Wide-Eyed, is meant to convey the feeling of falling in and out of love.
Influenced by Said The SkySaid The Sky has influenced the music of Eminus, Dimatis, Aye Bay and more.
