As members of West Coast collective the Living Legends, rapper Eligh and MC/producer the Grouch have been part of an independent, anti-gangsta rap movement since the mid-1990s. Frequent collaborators, the duo released compilations of their work together, G & E MUSIC VOL. 1 & 2 (2001), through their own G&E Music imprint, and G & E MUSIC VOL. 3: NO MORE GREENER GRASSES (2003), through the Legends’ Legendary Music label. Six years later, the Grouch and Eligh re-teamed for the highly anticipated follow-up, SAY G&E!
