Artist Biography
Los Angeles-base collective the Southland cite influences as diverse as Jane's Addiction and Randy Newman, but their brand of breezy and infectious pop/rock is all their own. Comprised of singer/songwriter/guitarist Jed Whedon, lead guitarist/co-writer Nick Guiskoff, drummer Andy Crosby, keyboardist Danny Chaimson, and bass player Ethan Phillips, their Ruffworld debut, Influence of Geography, was released in May of 2005. ~ James Christopher Monger
