British singer Tich makes soulful, dance-oriented pop music. Born Rachel Furner in 1993, Tich got her nickname due to her short stature. Having studied piano since she was six, by age 13 Tich had already written and recorded a handful of original songs which she uploaded to her MySpace page. She soon caught the ear of the music industry executive who encouraged her to continue writing and performing. At age 16, Tich moved from Northampton to London to pursue music full-time. A record deal with Mercury came and went, but Tich had already gained enough confidence to keep searching for the right home for her music. In 2012, she released The Candle Light EP, which helped nab her a new record deal with Universal. In 2013, she returned with the single "Dumb." ~ Matt Collar
