Daniel Oviedo, better known as Ovy on the Drums, is a Colombian producer, songwriter, and performer whose multi-Platinum career spans reggaetón, hip-hop, and pop.
∙ Ovy produced all but one track on Unstoppable, the double-Platinum album that launched the career of KAROL G, winner of the 2018 Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
∙ In 2018, he cowrote and produced Argentine singer Paulo Londra’s trap hit “Adán y Eva,” which topped the charts in Spain and multiple Latin American countries.
∙ The video for “Tusa,” the Ovy-produced 2019 collaboration between reggaetón singer KAROL G and rapper Nicki Minaj, has been viewed more than 1 billion times.
∙ As a performer, he teamed up with Mau y Ricky on “Sigo Buscándote,” which peaked at No. 12 on Billboard’s Mexican Pop Español Airplay chart in 2020.
