Bay Area rapper Yatta has continued making music despite having been sidelined by a 12-year prison sentence.
• Yatta earned significant buzz with his verse on Lil Yase's 2016 track "Get It In."
• In 2017, the rapper pleaded guilty to attempted murder and firearms charges. He was sentenced to 12 years.
