Saxophonist Dave Koz earned his stripes playing in Bobby Caldwell's band. He also worked as a session musician throughout the ‘80s before making his self-titled solo debut in 1990. He quickly became a major name in the smooth jazz scene, with a sound drawing on the silky qualities of David Sanborn and Kenny G. He would go on to tour extensively, captivating listeners the world over. In 2006, Koz began hosting a radio show for Broadcast Architecture's new Smooth Jazz Network. Koz also served as bandleader on The Emeril Lagasse Show.
