ERNEST tells Apple Music he is a longtime Toby Keith fan, and that recording one of the country legend’s unreleased songs is an “honor and privilege.” “This one, when I heard it, it was like, ‘Oh, that sounds like something I would put on my record, something I would write, that kind of has that breezy vibe,’” he says. “When we went in to cut the song, I was not trying to do anything.
