Tigers Jaw don’t like settling down. Since forming in 2005, the Pennsylvania band have progressed from scrappy pop-punk and emo to the skilfully crafted indie rock of Spin and the 2021 release I Won’t Care How You Remember Me. This is partly the result of co-founders Ben Walsh and Brianna Collins employing numerous session musicians and collaborators who bring fresh ideas to the table. Far more important, however, is the fact that Walsh and Collins approach music like a personal diary. For them, Tigers Jaw is a means of expressing their hopes and dreams, their struggles and insecurities, as they make their way through life.
