Valentine's is 'round the corner

It's a money-based affair

Still, somehow, I'd feel warmer

If I had someone there

I wish someone would break my heart

Just so I could feel something

Then I'd make it into art

And friends would relate to it

All the songs on the radio are all about love

What about those of us who have no one

I know I'm worth somebody's time

After nineteen years, you get tired

Or hold somebody close to me like

I know I'm supposed to feel ashamed

Of loneliness at heart

But I can't bring myself to blame
