Another dreary November day
Been staring for hours with bored disdain
Desperate to break out of this place
In need of something new to chase
Booked a ticket and hopped a plane
North Country greeted me with more rain
Cold wind howling in my face
This path couldn't save me from my malaise
Oh how I need an escape
Show me a fresh landscape
Suddenly, red rocks rise
Cliffs surround me
Suddenly, a mountain high
Overcomes me
Suddenly, clear blue skies
Paint the horizon
Suddenly, I've found it all
Sedona
Sedona
Camped under the the western stars
But froze while the gale continued on
Tried to hike a canyon trail
Instead I was greeted with more hail.
High tailed it back on route 64
Desert highway runs forevermore
Speeding toward the evergreens
Everything becomes serene
Suddenly, red rocks rise
Cliffs surround me
Suddenly, a mountain high
Overcomes me
Suddenly, clear blue skies
Paint the horizon
Suddenly, I've found it all
Sedona
Sedona
But there's a place
To find your inner peace
Different faces
Reflecting back to me
There's no more haste
I'm planted on my feet
It embraces
And makes me want to see
Suddenly, red rocks rise
Cliffs surround me
Suddenly, a mountain high
Overcomes me
Suddenly, clear blue skies
Paint the horizon
Suddenly, I've found it all
Sedona
Sedona
Suddenly, red rocks rise
Cliffs surround me
Suddenly, a mountain high
Overcomes me
Suddenly, clear blue skies
Paint the horizon
Suddenly, I've found it all
Sedona
Sedona
