Robot Monkey

I bought a robot monkey from the pet shop today

I think I'll call him Clunky 'cause he clunks when we play

I could have had a camel, but a camel smells so bad

I chose a robot monkey 'cause he looks a lot like Dad

And he goes

Bing-bong, chimmy-chimmy, ding-dong-doo-dah, zippy-zim-zam-zoom

His nose becomes a light bulb, he can see in the dark

And he can scare a robber 'cause he knows how to bark

He flies around the kitchen when his robot tail spins

And when I'm feeling hungry, he can open cookie tins

And he goes

My monkey is so clever, he follows me to school

He hides from all the teachers, my friends think he's so cool

He always knows the answer, each subject is a breeze

He even does my homework while swinging in the trees

I love my robot monkey 'cause he's fun and he's smart

He fixes the computer 'cause he knows every part

He doesn't eat bananas, he just chucks them in the bin

And when his battery's running low you simply plug him in

And he goes
