The Unsung Hero

Uh, yeah He walks alone 'cuz he thinks he's misunderstood He never really had the chance to do what others could He takes a breath, and reminisces on his lyfe His "wrongs" were remembered... they'd all forget his "rights" He's overcome by darkness but blinded by the lights He stays cool but when he blows up it's dynamite He ain't gon' let them get him down, not without a fight If anyone really knew how much he cries at nite They'd stick'em up and uncover all his secrets Display'em like a mannequin. Expose the world his weaknessess He's had enough... he's tired'a bein' the nice guy If he jump, he gon' fly So now they say he's heartless and known for retaliatin' Deep in the darkness, alone in the alley waitin' He barely takin' anything from anyone he know Keep ya eyes on this unsung hero This unsung hero It's the unsung hero Keep ya eyes on this unsung hero He's the unsung hero Yeh, yeh When he was young, he saw the world with different eyes He walked around with his head lifted to the skies He had dreams but they all drifted to the side When he realized people and they dirty lies Now everybody's got they hands up wonders why He wont give "this" and "that" anotha try They think he bitter but he juss can't hear anotha lie Been there and back. For that, he's seen too many summers die A damn shame. And $h!7 gets ridiculous And even he knows he's a little too meticulous He's paranoid. Which led him to be skeptical He holds on to tha past and know he gotta let it go He made a list of the ones that he knows he's got to keep avoidin' 'Cuz he know all of that's commotion and annoyin' Startin' with the ones who tryna murder him or blood poisonin'em But he got tha antidote! Y'all borin' him The unsung hero I'm talkin' 'bout this unsung hero Keep ya eyes on the unsung hero Yeah He's the unsung hero Aha He don't leap tall buildings in a single bound But what he does, is neva let his peoples down He keeps his secrets close to heart where they're safe and sound But they're not really his, they're secrets of his close friends With that, he meek. And even though they tell'em, oddly He feels ruined on the inside and melancholy 'Cuz he know "A" told on "B" And told not to tell "C" And "X" told on "Y" And told not to tell "Z" So he keep a lid on it.
