Searching for sleep made me only find Loneliness besides the abyss in my mind Brightly awake i appear to be recaptured by childish fears I would go for a walk if I wasn't this tired I would love to stay, but I can't Staring into the dark won't brighten up my thoughts The faintest glimmer I see is blinding my eyes I wish i could turn my head off, just for one night Let us choose the longest way home so we can wander the streets Don't leave me alone with my thoughts, not in these walls Because darkness will bring silence, Silence makes us looks into our soul And I don't want to see it Not at day nor at night, not at all And I am honestly grateful for your sympathy But I'm still searching for sleep And you will always find me staring into the dark Trying to turn my head off Let us choose the longest way home so we can wander the streets Don't leave me alone with my thoughts, not in these walls Don't leave me alone cause I can't stand my thoughts
