I remember when we would go to Checker's and you would love to get nothing but an ice cream cone

I remember when we would go to Cookout and the only thing you loved to get was a pineapple milkshake

I remember when you were there for most of my basketball games

You never failed to make me happy

You were always so sweet and caring

You used to always make me laugh

I remember the addiction you had for Lays potato chips and a bottle of Coke

Then I remember getting the news that you had cancer

It really broke my heart but I know I had to be strong for you

It wasn't easy for me but I just prayed and remembered the positive things about you

I remember how much you loved animals and the times you would make me laugh when I heard you laughing at the crazy videos you watched

But, even though I miss you, at least you aren't suffering no more
