Something Different

There’s something different about this stable,

Shepherds are running there from near and far,

Angels are gathered and they’re singing, “Glory!”

Kings are following a big, bright star

There’s something different about this temple,

The walls are echoing the voice of a child,

He says He’s all about His Father’s business,

A little 12-year-old is teaching the wise.

There’s something different about this water,

The winds and waves were rocking to and fro

But in a moment, all is still and peaceful,

The raging storm has somehow been controlled

There’s something different about these people,

The blind, the lame, and deaf, all hope seems lost,

But now they’re seeing, walking, even listening,

They say this healing man has changed it all

Everything changes when He appears,

Trouble has to go when He is near,

So take every burden you’re holding onto,

Lay ‘em down and let Him do 

Something different in you

There’s something different about this mountain,

A guiltless Man is hanging on a cross,

He questions why His Father has forsaken,

A Savior’s dying for a world that’s lost.

There’s something different about this garden,

An angel stands beside an empty grave,

The morning sun has broken through the darkness,

For He has risen with the power to save
