You see people on every corner most every day, in every city in every season they stay

They’re teens, queens & factory workers, housewives & soldiers with no homes

Do you ever stop & ask who they are or where they came from?

'Cuz it’ easier to lie & say that your life could never be like theirs?

You can see the pain & guilt, the self-doubt, but you know this is not their fault.

Now we can open up our hearts & offer hope & love 'cuz all is not lost!

Let’s take the homeless to hope & with grace we can find a better way

To restore their faith & trust & help the souls who get lost in this rat race.

'Cuz the truth is we’re responsible for everyone we meet along our way.

And everyone deserves a 2nd chance 'cuz you know this might your day.
