Clockwork Town

Here in a clockwork town

Such a well-kept burial ground

Where everyone is playin' a part

Tryin' to sell you on little lies 'bout who they are

And it sure don't feel like home

Then again, what really does?

Feels like everywhere I go

It's just a passing lane from whence I came

I change my name again

Who am I fooling?

The mail reaches its prior address

Who gets to read it is anyone's guess

And I find it amusing

Eyes and doll-hair signs

What are you willing to do

For an easy rhyme?
