Across the wood

With one sickening wet snap

With one nauseating thud

The decision has been made

There is a light that will always call to you

That will always pull you

That will always show you a better place that you could reach

That will always tell you there's something better out there for someone so worthless

And if you just give in

When you've let everyone you love fester and rot in the road behind you

You may finally reach it

You may finally see life beyond this one

You may finally touch the ground beyond the static

Bisected by the shore
