Sometimes I think it's just a painting.

Sometimes I think that it's not real.

Sometimes I think I'm in a movie

That way the sunset makes me feel.

Sometimes I think that I'm a part of the sky,

That it's all in my mind's eye.

Sometimes I think it's a projection.

Sometimes I think that it's a sign.

Sometimes I think that it's a picture

Of the glory on my mind.

Sometimes I think it's just gasses and dust,

Staring back at us.

Oh, why should I fuss?

I already think too much.

Sometimes I think it's just a sunset

Until I really stop and stare.

Sometimes I find myself so taken

I forget I'm even there.
