Enveloping Absurdity

Some search for purpose Many suppose they've found one Filling in the gaps With the spirit, father, and son Only grasping at straws Comforting faiths to dull the pain Without inherent meaning What point could there be for life? This absurd human experience Can it only be corrected by suicide? Are we too, condemned To push our boulder endlessly up the mount Just to watch it fall again? Only those who have wished for death Truly know how good it is to live Enveloping absurdity Indifferent to the possibility of more Solutions to stave the meaningless Only dead ends once explored All suffer and are destroyed Inevitably slipping back into the void
