I'm writing from somewhere in the future

Someplace where we no longer exists in each others worlds

It's hard to describe this world to you

You've been gone for so long

But I've written you these stories that

I hope one day you'd be able to read

I say that they're stories

But really they're just things I've gone through that

I don't think i'll ever recover from

You see, this world - my world - is really sad

And it feels like happy endings don't exist

And the only ending I have is sadness

I know I wasn't always like this

Especially when you were still around

But things changed after you left

They pretend that you were never real

And sometimes I think of our conversations and it

It feels like i'm just talking to myself

Anyway, wherever you are right now

I hope that you are in less pain

And if you've learned how to write

Then I'd love to hear your stories too

But, I love you

I've only really known love for you
