Go With the Flow

Living the life of ease is what I do for fun

I've learnt to speak my mind and I've learnt to bite my tongue

But it ain't easy doing what you want for free

Unless you're like a puppet with no strings

It took a little bit of time to realise

That I don't have to be so hypnotised

I just wanna go with the flow

Everybody else should know

And I just wanna see the sun when I'm awake

And look up at the moon and hallucinate

Now my advice is to take a break from time to time

'Cause I don't wanna lose the things that could be mine

And when I feel like falling down like a domino

I get told I need to be apologetic, poetic, aesthetic, forget it

Now I feel apathetic, I wanna go with the flow

I work in ways that others may not ever understand

So talk about emotions and write 'em down in a verse

I've become the red sock in a white wash filled with shirts

So sing a little louder so the music is heard
