Ol' Cupid's got his hand on the switch

I think he's gonna pull, that li'l sonuvabitch

Two big magnets full of attraction

Headed for the town of Satisfaction

Better hold tight to that indoor plumbin'...

Everybody knows a train wreck's comin'

Well, he barred the motor and the valves were opened

Give it one revolution was all he was hopin'

But she fired right up much to his surprise

Then she gave him a wink with those big blue eyes

Comet sez "Dixie, (I) like the way you' runnin'"

Dixie sez, "Sugar, you ain't seen nothin'"

Cited for conduct unbecomin'...

Everybody knows a train wreck's comin'

Well, people lined up both sides of the ridge

Where the drop is steep and there ain't no bridge

Comet sez, "Dixie we're in trouble deep."

Dixie sez, "Sugar, let's take that leap."

Everybody pointin' up to the sky

Now, when did those locomotives learn to fly?

People all shoutin' now ain't that somethin'...
