Forever in Sufferance

Voices breathe down my neck

Internal pain, my body reflects

At war with one’s self

Never at peace, forever I’ll be

Myself, I shall erase

Feel the break in my sanity

The burden is me

Withered husk of a broken man

Drowning in a sea of sorrow

Absent in time, bitter contempt

Weakened through constant suffering

Ending my life, freed of this agony

Consciousness gone

Failed everyone

All hope lost within me

For this reason I cease to be

With every breath I take,

The boiled rage embraced

Desiring the end I close my eyes

And pull the trigger

Never will I remain a victim

To my mind again
