Gypsy Tango

In the countryside we sip a coffee in a summer night

And with some friends I remember names of the old Towns that we left behind

London, Paris, and Milan now WE stay in Buenos Aires

And so we are playing a Gypsy tango with guitar and bandoneon

The feeling of the distance

Is like a fly of a dove.

It’s the first kiss you have given.

A letter full of love

And the one right note

AND in the night, I light

For everyone who travels

A candle sparks.

Black uncle drinks mate

Cuban cigar passes between us.

And in the silence, I feel the smell of ground.

From the sky I hear a sound

Argentina is a promise land.

That we are ready to touch with our hands

We come from every port in the world.

To Travel is in our soul
